Important Information!

Please arrive at the location at least 20–30 minutes before the tour start time. This time is required for administrative procedures, equipment distribution, and the mandatory safety briefing.
The tour is guided, and the pace is set by the guide based on weather conditions, snow conditions, and the experience level of the group. This is not a race – the main goal is safety and an enjoyable experience.
The snowmobiles are regularly maintained and in excellent technical condition. Before the tour begins, please take a photo of the snowmobile from the front and from the rear to document any existing damage and avoid possible misunderstandings afterward.
At the end of the tour, please remain on the snowmobile until a guide checks its condition. The tour is considered officially finished only after this inspection.
Depending on the number of participants and their experience level, the group may be divided into a slower and a more dynamic subgroup, allowing everyone to enjoy the tour at a pace suited to their comfort level.
If possible, please prepare the tour fee in Romanian lei and in the exact amount. For larger groups, to speed up the process, we kindly ask that the total amount be collected in advance.
Tour guides have the right to decide who may drive and who may not, in order to ensure the safe conduct of the tour.
For beginners and ladies, 1 hour is recommended to start with.
Changing seats during the tour is prohibited.

We are a well-prepared team with many years of experience. We have more than 10 snowmobiles, which are under constant control. Romania’s newest 4-stroke snowmobiles. Safety is essential for us, so we pay attention to personal needs. Only experienced sledgers are allowed to have higher speeds. We welcome everyone.

What equipment should I bring?

We recommend warm, layered clothing: a waterproof jacket and trousers, warm boots, gloves, and a hat or balaclava. Helmets and, if necessary, protective goggles are provided, but you are welcome to use your own helmet and goggles.

How many people can ride on one snowmobile?

One snowmobile can carry 2 adults, or 2 adults and one small child. The total combined weight must not exceed 170 kg.

What is the maximum weight capacity of a snowmobile?

The maximum load capacity is generally 150–170 kg (depending on the model), which includes the combined weight of the driver and passenger. Safety is always the top priority.

Who can drive a snowmobile? Is a driving license required?

No driving license is required.
Anyone aged 14 or older may drive a snowmobile with a valid ID. Before the tour, a detailed briefing is provided on how to operate the snowmobile and on safety rules.

How can I reach Harghita?

The Harghita Mountains can be accessed via two routes:

From Ivó – the recommended route, with an asphalted and gravel road that is regularly cleared of snow. A 4×4 vehicle or snow chains are recommended.
From Szentegyháza – a gravel road that is less maintained. Recommended only for experienced drivers with a 4×4 vehicle and/or snow chains. This route is not recommended.

The snowmobile tour location is easily accessible by car, and parking is available.

What condition are the snowmobiles in?
The snowmobiles are regularly maintained and in excellent technical condition.
They are 600 cc, 4-stroke, new-generation models (2020+), equipped with automatic transmission, making them easy and comfortable for anyone to operate. Before the tour, please take photos of the front and rear of the snowmobile to document any existing damage.

Can the group be divided?
Yes. If the number of participants and their experience level require it, the group may be divided into a slower and a more dynamic subgroup, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the tour in optimal conditions.
